Charles Barkley is an expert teleprompter reader, but evidently he's a bit too trusting of the people who put the words up there for him. At least that was the basis behind this embarrasing faux paus, when fellow TNT host Ernie Jackson had scriptwriters put up a prompt for the hopeful future Governor of Alabama to call himself a dumbass on closed circuit TV before the prompter was rolling live.
