The Daily Tube review
Don't worry if your heart is broken, because researchers at the University of Minnesota can build you a new one. They "washed" the original cells of a dead rat's heart and injected the shell with the cells of newborn rodents. Next thing they knew it was alive, ALIVE! The organ started to beat on its own and created the potential for future breakthroughs in treating everything from cardiac disease to transplants, and ideally, for the creation of some bad-ass rat/human hybrid scavengers.
