Jay Leno is in a bit of WGA hot water for writing his monologues, which is apparently in violation of guild rules. The odd thing about it is that presumably, thinking up a monologue would be OK, because no union controls thoughts...although the Bush administration is lobbying for just such a power. The irony is that the monologues are nowhere near as funny as the off-the-cuff riffs in bits like this look at leftover gifts from the 2007 holiday season.
