"Tell me one thing in the debates that you wish you hadn't said," said ABC News anchor/debate moderator Charles Gibson during the New Hampshire debate last week. While Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton's answers proved least interesting-they deferred discussing any debate snafus, and instead emphasized the differences between the Democrat and Republican candidates-John Edwards and Bill Richardson had a little more fun. Edwards regretted teasing Hills for her attire ("But I think you look terrific tonight," he said with a smile), and Richardson wished he could take back his choice of "favorite" Supreme Court Justice Byron "Whizzer" White. "I idolize John F. Kennedy, and I figured if he appointed Whizzer White, this was a great Supreme Court Justice. Then I find out that Whizzer White was against Rose vs. Wade and against civil rights.
