Late night hosts David Letterman, Conan, O'Brien and Jay Leno are back, some with writers, some with beards. Caveman chic came back with late night TV. David Letterman was able to strike a deal with the WGA as an independent producer of his show and "The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson". The bearded Letterman showed solidarity with the striking writers by having them deliver his first "Top Ten List" of 2008. Conan said his man hair was in solidarity with the writers, but Jay Leno just winged it without WGA approval and guest stars that won't cross the picket line.
