Brangelina's Daughter's Birth Mother Speaks Out

Zahara Jolie-Pitt's birth mother, Mentwabe Dawit, is speaking out against media reports that she wants her baby back. She was rumored to have died from AIDs, but actually decided to run away rather than stay and watch her baby die from malnourishment. The 24-year-old says that the baby girl was a product of rape and that she tried to conceal the pregnancy since it's a taboo in her culture. Her mother searched for months for Mentwabe and put Zahara up for adoption after concluding that her daughter must have died.
