Props to The Daily Tube subscriber Teresa Baxter for nominating this clip in honor of Merv Griffin, who died of cancer Sunday at the age of 82. He was best known for the long-running “Merv Griffin Show”, but also for creating “Wheel of Fortune" and "Jeopardy!” (he even composed the jaunty "Final Jeopardy" theme music.) But the entertainment/business magnate loved comedians, so it makes perfect sense that he knocked 'em dead as the Elevator Killer in Steve Martin’s “The Man with Two Brains.” A fitting tribute for a giant in the business of show.
