You know how your Dad always told you to "finish out the play." whenever you were involved in team sports growing up? Well, this is precisely why he said it: Because not finishing off a play can cost you a game, in spectacular fashion. After John Glenn (Mich.) High School had a potential game-winning field goal blocked, rival Central Plymouth began celebrating wildly. And rightfully so, since that should have wrapped up a tight win. Unfortunately for ol' PC, the team's players forgot to touch the ball after it was blocked, meaning it was sitting on the field as a live ball after being blocked, waiting for John Glenn to pick it up and waltz in for a game-winning touchdown.
