The Daily Tube review

Dave apologizes to his wife, says the philandering is in the past and admits he's got his work cut out him. Dave believes you can't let the bad guys win, but he hurt a loved one in the process and for that, that he's sorry.

Then, of course, Sarah Palin.

Was this Letterman's craziest stretch in his thirty years on the air? You say yes, but don't forget he was the first NYC guy back on after 9/11, he had quintuple bypass surgery, a woman kept breaking into his home, and there was a plot to kidnap his son Harry.

Wow. What a life.
