Baseball games don't get much better -- let alone more meaningful -- than this. With an entire season resting on game No. 163, the Twins and Tigers faced off in Minnesota, and after more exciting plays at the plate than in any game you can remember, the Twins eventually escaped due to a combination of last licks, guile and good old fashioned speed. All of that overshadowed a bevy of other potential storylines, none more poignant than Miguel Cabrera's dominant performance despite serious heat surrounding a domestic abuse charge. No matter, now it's the Twins who are on to New York, and the Tigers who will have yet another long, cold offseason in Detroit to lick their wounds and figure out what the heck happened.
