The Daily Tube review

Directing King Rat for Modest Mouse was one of the last projects Heath Ledger was involved in before his death, and he didn't get to see it through to its completion.  The idea behind it was his own, however, and The Masses, a company he was a partner in, finished the project.  It's a brutal look at the illegal whaling industry, flipped in a way that people who think nothing of animal rights might sympathize with.  The main thing people will take away from this, though, is that it was Ledger in the directors chair.
