The Daily Tube review
This three-minute snipet of PBS's Heart of Jenin has a telling story: that of Ahmad Khatib's 2005 death by Israeli soldiers for mistaking his toy gun for a real one. Ahmad's parents underwent the daunting task of donating his organs which went to the Jews and Arabs residing in Israel. Here, the families react to the Khatib's generosity through the pain. The last family, despite the fact that their child was saved, are shockingly still not open to the idea of the donor being Arab. They could seriously use a wake up call.
