The whole Miss California controversy basically goes like this: First, Carrie Prejean (Miss California) says during the Miss America pageant that she doesn't support gay marriage after being asked the question by openly-gay blogger Perez Hilton. Everyone then overreacts. Those in support of gay marriage rail her, while anti-gay marriage activists, NOM (National Organization for Marriage) adopt her as a spokesperson (stupidly). Unfortunately, this puts Miss California in a weird spot, because she much fulfill her duties to the State of California because of her title. Throw in a few lawsuits and nude photos, and you get the pretext of why Keith Lewis, Co-Director of Donald Trump's "Miss California" competition, is basically pwning NOM for what they've done to Carrie Prejean.
