Well, if you're going to end it all, you may as well make sure the job is done right. It's speculated that a man who jumped into the current at Niagara's Horseshoe Falls and allowed himself to be swept over was attempting suicide. He survived, however, only one of a very small handful of people to hold up after the fifty-meter plunge.
