The Daily Tube review

From Israeli animator Yoni Goodman, this 90-second short film symbolically depicts life in the Gaza Strip in the form of a small boy chasing a bluebird, only to be blockaded from all roads, corners and seas he tries to cross by giant hands. Goodman says he hopes the animation would draw attention to his countries controversial close-off of the strip, which has been under military blockade since Hamas came to power in June 2007 and was most recently banned from any humanitarian aid during and after a nearly month-long war this year.  (by Rema Rahman) Running Time: 1:36
