Florida Panthers play-by-play announcer Randy Moeller is a big buddy of noted Miami Herald columnist and radio host Dan LeBatard, who, in a concept of brilliant comedy, came up with a crosspromotional concept that may be the funniest in the country: On LeBatard's show on game days, fans call in and suggest pop culture references for Moeller to work in during a call of a goal. The result? Moeller has celebrated goals with references to "Forrest Gump," "48 Hours," "Anchorman," "Old School," "Wedding Crashers," "Dumb and Dumber," Fozzie Bear, "Rounders," Def Leppard, "Se7en," "Kindergarten Cop" "The Terminator" and a good dozen others. It's amazingly hilarious, and if he ever stops doing it we might cry. That's how much we love it.
