During the season, two different pairs of terrific running backs claimed to have coined the nickname "Smash and Dash". Neither was willing to back off their own claims or originality. Despite some early awkwardness, there's plenty more hilarious moments than unseemly ones from an exchange of four young running backs -- all are within the first four seasons of their careers -- who may give reason to use "Smash and Dash" for a long time coming.
