The Daily Tube review
The RCA Dome was home to the Indianapolis Colts for 24 years, as well as far more Final Fours than a city the size of Indianapolis should be allowed to host. When the city and team came together to build Lucas Oil Stadium over the past couple years, the RCA Dome knew it's time was up. Well, just as it was always a utilitarian but unimpressive stadium, the RCA Dome's implosion was equally effective but unflattering, with 20 seconds and a total of 875 explosive devices spelling its demise. That doesn't keep the implosion from being entertaining. After all, has anyone ever seen a stadium implosion that wasn't entertaining? We certainly haven't.
