If anyone else was listening to ESPN Radio's nationally syndicated morning show, Mike & Mike in the Morning -- and if ratings are any indication, much of the country does -- you heard Senator John McCain on Monday. Now, McCain happens to be running for President, of course, which makes him an awfully strange guest on national sports radio. ESPN claims that they're trying to line up Barack Obama, and other rumors are that there were so many ESPN contributors to Obama they felt that had to bring McCain on to push away any claims of intra-journalistic subterfuge. No matter what the reason behind the interview, it was pretty weird to have McCain spend six minutes on rambling psuedo sports topics in front of a national audience.
