Well, maybe if you believe Stephen Colbert. "Oprah's not just wielding her power to make us buy books anymore," Colbert joked about her recent Obama endorsement in his weekly Threat Down segment. "She's circumventing our entire electoral system and picking the President. There's no point in holding the election now. Barack wins. No other candidate could possibly withstand the awesome hivemind of Oprah's housewife party."
