Yankees manager Joe Girardi claimed his team needed to win two of three games from the Red Sox this week to have a legitimate shot at making the playoffs. Well, they didn't get there, but thanks to Jason Giambi and crew, they did get a consolation prize of one win. Whether that keeps them in contention for the wild card remains to be seen, but it clearly wasn't what they were hoping for in the last stretch against their hated rivals at Yankee Stadium.  (by Cameron Smith) Running Time: 0:49
