It took convincing on all sides -- the Jets owners to believe Favre would actually come, Favre to believe the Jets could win with him, the Packers to believe that the Jets' conditional draft pick was the best offer they'd get -- but at the end of the day, the deal got done, in large part because everyone was able to convince everyone else that this deal was the right one to make.
