Lollapalooza boasted an incredible line-up this year, headlined by Radiohead, Kanye West, Wilco, Nine Inch Nails, and Rage Against the Machine. While the huge crowd proved unwieldy at times, they were downright riotous for RAtM's screaming protest music, causing lead singer Zach de la Rocha to stop the show repeatedly to prevent injuries from piling up. Rumors are swirling of Gimme Shelter-style mid-crowd stabbings and police interference just outside the gates. At least Hell's Angels weren't involved.
