Who said the second half of the baseball season couldn't get started with a bang? With only four games on the major league slate, the Mets visited Cincinnati and found a way to pull out a dramatic, ninth-inning win -- the team's 10th straight -- pulling into a tie for first place in the NL East with the Phillies. Anyone who saw that renaissance coming, whether in the game or season, is probably lying, which just gives more reason to watch the second half of the season.
