The Daily Tube review
On Sunday, June 22, 2008, George Carlin died of heart failure. He was 71. Carlin crafted an ascerbic, misanthropic brand of humor that challenged absurd notions of decency (sparking a court case that ended up in the Supreme Court), and highlighted humanity's shortcomings. Among his great routines, perhaps his “Seven Words You Can Never Say on Television” stands as his most celebrated... and notorious, practically inventing the modern form of "working blue."
