In the end, the first meaningful, uber-hyped Game 7 at Boston's TD Banknorth Garden came down to this simple equation: 41 points for Paul Pierce > 45 points for LeBron James. Pierce's heroic effort overcame King James, sending the latter home for a long offseason while pushing the Celtics on to the Eastern Conference Finals. Whether the C's can recover in time to take out the Pistons is a question, but just by getting there, Pierce gave his fans a performance to remember.
