The Giro D Italia is arguably the second most important bicycle race in the world, behind the Tour de France, of course. And when one of the rising stars in the sport - David Millar - missed out on a podium finish because his chain snapped just yards short of the finish line, well, you can guess what happened when he reached the bridge before the finish line.
