"I was, like, so hot because it was, like, a million degrees outside today." Is this travesty of a sentence an example of proper grammar? It's more likely than you think.

Do not ask why the company has to cut back on punctuation.  Even using a basic period costs money, and if you want to keep your job you'll stop asking so many questions.
