This actually isn't odd behavior for an Ewok.  If you lived on Endor, what do you think you'd be doing all the time?

You have to love the Ewoks.  Those furry little helpers made Return of the Jedi kid-friendly enough to raise the trilogy to legendary status (Or those little monsters drove it into the ground depending on how geeky you are.)
