Instead, it turns out they have absolutely no idea how it works, to the point that Colt McCoy would use a first round pick on Tennesse blimp running back LenDale White. As a result, the 7:01 clip you see here is chock full of amazing moments, including Cooley drafting his quarterback, Jason Campbell, too high to massage his ego and the Redskins cheerleaders drafting a decidedly better team than any of the players.

They, on the other hand, are perfectly receptive to democratic considerations in their field charging, as they showed in this clip by charging the field to attack police in DEFENSE of a prior field charger. It's a pretty impressive feat of fan defense, and Yankee Stadium bouncers might want to take notice.

Hurricane Gustav has come and gone, but it's devastating effects aren't completely in the past. Well, maybe it's devastation has passed, but the New Orleans Saints are still adapting to life with a banged up practice facility and with concern for loved ones and some who need to find new homes. Add that in to traditional Week One preparations, and it's easily to see why Drew Brees, Reggie Bush and co. have so much on their plate.

Canada Is Still a Bit Behind on End Zone Celebrations

Last weekend, a CFL receiver for the Toronto Argonauts tried to do his best Chad Johnson Ocho Cinco impression by hiding a Spiderman mask behind the end zone, where he could pull it out and don it in front of cameras. Well, let's just say that he needed a lot more rehearsal time, which only goes to show that Canada will probably have some wide receiver changing his last name to "Huit Cinq" in 10-15 years.

LeBron James Freestyles During an ESPN Fade-in

You know those black-screen fade-ins that ESPN and major networks due for sports events and SportsCenter-like programs? Well, during one such ESPN moment earlier this month, LeBron James was waiting in the wings to be interviewed and, not knowing that he was spitting rhymes into a hot mike, dropping the following line before ESPN cut it off: "So don't go there, is that a (inaudible) can rest in a w____," If you can figure anything else from the quick vid, we'll happily mail you a chicken nugget happy meal. May not be piping hot by the time it gets there, but we'll send it anyway. For real.

Replay Used For A-Rod (Who Else?)

Did anyone actually expect a relatively unknown or overlooked player like Brian Roberts to draw the first official use of instant replay to decide whether a homer was fair or foul? No! Of COURSE A-Rod would hit a skyward ball in the Tropicana Dome that would pull the videotapes into use. Now, the real question is how many other times he'll bring it into use, both this year and in the rest of his career.
